Ivan Perisic putting pressure on Inter Milan to agree Manchester United transfer

Ivan Perisic is prepared to put pressure on Inter Milan to ensure the Italian club come to an agreement with Manchester United over a summer transfer, reports say.

Perisic has emerged as one of Jose Mourinho’s priority targets and it appeared United would clinch a deal when Inter were forced to meet Financial Fair Play regulations last month.

But the Serie A outfit were able to hit the target with a series of smaller deals, and reports from Italy suggested Inter were hopeful of keeping hold of the Croatian star.

However, according to La Repubblica, Perisic is now ready to force through his move to Old Trafford as he is keen on a switch to England and the chance to play under Mourinho.

It is claimed United have so far been unwilling to table a bid in excess of €30m while Inter are holding out for at least €50m.
