The Madrid president is keen to get top dollar for the 24-year-old as he looks to replace him with Kylian Mbappe. And now the news of a plane landing in Manchester has given United fans hope that a deal is close. According to Flight Aware the plane took off from Madrid and landed in Manchester last night. United have also been spuriously linked with James Rodriguez and Cristiano Ronaldo, while David de Gea has been linked with a move the other way. Mourinho is said to be growing frustrated at United’s transfer business so far this summer with only Victor Lindelof through the door so far.

Manchester United have offered a contract worth €7.5 million a season to Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan, according to  Il Tempo . Jose Mourinho is looking to add some steel to his midfield and sees the Belgium international as an ideal signing. 

“United are obviously looking to add to the squad, we know that, that is not a secret,” Dwight Yorke told Sky Sports. “It’s all about the quality that is brought in. I’m sure Jose’s got his targets like every other manager. “I think that Manchester United being the richest club in the world, in the Champions League as well, things are looking pretty up. “I believe that come the start of the season we will get three or four quality players in and make sure we are competitive enough and raring to win the Premier League this season.”
